Premier's Award of Excellence

Alberta’s public service is recognized as one of the best in Canada. As Premier, I’m proud to lead a team of provincial government employees who are dedicated to building a stronger province for current and future generations.

Many Alberta Public Service employees are members of teams who exceed expectations on specific projects or on an ongoing basis. The Premier’s Award of Excellence recognizes superior client service and business excellence practices.
 

Demonstration of the public service’s values of respect, accountability, integrity, and excellence is also included in the program.

Since the Premier’s Award of Excellence was established in 1995, 349 teams have been honoured. Teams making submissions can include members from other public or private sector organizations outside of government who partner with the team to achieve superior client service and business excellence.

I look forward to this year’s ceremony and the opportunity to personally congratulate outstanding teams for their contributions to Alberta’s Public Service.
