Professional consulting in the human resource management field includes the administration of personnel policies or programs; or officers under the Labour Relations Code dealing with matters related to collective bargaining under that Act or investigative work under the authority of the Ombudsman.

Human Relations Level 1
Human Relations Level 2

Human Relations Level 1

Minimum Recruitment Standard:

  • University graduation in a related field and no experience required; or equivalent as described below.

    Equivalency: A related two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution and two years related experience; or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and three years related experience.

Minimum Recruitment Standard:

  • University graduation in a related field plus two years related experience; or equivalent as described below.

    Equivalency: A related two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution and four years related experience; or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and five years related experience.

    Equivalency:  A related two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution and seven years related experience; or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and eight years related experience.
