EFAP is a prevention-focused program that provides voluntary, confidential counseling and Work Life Solution services to employees and their immediate family members

Health Coaching
Health Coaching services are available under the Government of Alberta's Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) effective April 1, 2011. Health Coaches are Registered Nurses or Occupational Health Nurses that provide you with information about a variety of physical health conditions and risks, and offer support to create a targeted risk reduction action plan.

Disability Management Program
The Disability Management Program is available to Human Resources and frontline Managers. The program provides case management and return to work support for ill or injured employees who are off work during the general illness period or missing work regularly and offers ministries support in reducing the incidence and duration of employee absences.

Medical Consultant Services
Medical Consultant Services offered through Workplace Health, Corporate Human Resources (CHR), provide Human Resource staff with information on an employee’s abilities and restrictions/limitations in order to facilitate a return to work.

Flu Immunization Resources & Planning Guide
The Government of Alberta encourages and supports employee wellness and is committed to offering flu vaccinations to all employees with employee numbers at no charge.
