Includes positions at the
entry/developmental and intermediate levels of the Financial Management
occupational stream. Incumbents with little experience demonstrate a
basic understanding of the principles of financial budgeting and
forecasting or of financial auditing and are able to carry out assignments
under the supervision of a senior professional or manager.
As experience is gained, the complexity of the role
increases and the incumbent begins to develop a more significant depth of
knowledge. The scope of budgeting or auditing assignments increase
as does the incumbent's independence. Budget Officers may be
assigned a portfolio of straightforward divisions to support and Auditors
may be assigned straightforward audit projects. |
